If one is regularly purchasing small amounts of BTC/ETH would there be an advantage to moving them off exchange less periodically in order to minimize gas and transaction fees in the future? Is there a future cost to having many small fractions divided all over the chains vs. fewer fractions?
I'm more concerned about later fees. Say I buy .1 BTC, ten times. Later I need to do one transaction with my 1 BTC.
If I move .1 BTC off exchange at a time then the future transaction has to combine 10 different transactions. Where if I had waited to pull off exchange, the entire BTC would be in the same block. The fees difference here would not be inconsequential....would it?

I wait until the fees are <0.1% of the $$$ being moved
